Northern Education Trust are seeking to appoint a pool of teachers to provide regional cover that are highly motivated and ambitious to continue the upward trend in improving student outcomes.

Trust regional cover teachers will provide cover and will be asked to cover for short and medium term absences, this will allow teaching for pupils to be seamless and ensure the best quality of educational provision. The successful applicant for the post will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in a thorough and inspiring way.

The successful candidate will:

  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
  • Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Plan and teach well-structured lessons
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
  • Make accurate and productive use of assessment
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
  • Fulfil wider professional responsibilities

You will be appointed centrally to the Trust, to cover a designated area. You will be expected to be able to travel to all secondary academies within the designated area of the Trust.
