We have a unique and exciting opportunity, on a fixed term basis, for an influential leader to play a key role within one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the UK. This is a great time to join us and have a real and lasting impact on our Academies and the communities which they serve. Are you a passionate and committed educational leader looking for an exciting new challenge? As Regional Director, you will have responsibility for a regional family of secondary Oasis Academies in London and the South East. This includes overseeing and leading school improvement – which in Oasis terms is as much about building the character of our students as well as their competence, ensuring that both are worked out in the context of community. The role is also about ensuring that we always remain focused on our vision and ethos and fulfilling our responsibilities to regulators, to our staff and to our communities. This means that the focus is wider than school improvement – although this is a central element – but it also embraces shared accountability for the effective running of the organisation as a national employer, as a public body and as key contributor to local community transformation. Aspirations and Improvements As Line Manager of Executive Principals and Principals in the region, you will be accountable for the educational standards and outcomes of our Secondary Academies London and South East academies. You will draw on your wealth of experience to ensure that every academy – whatever its starting point – continues to improve on its journey to Outstanding. Your expertise and guidance will ensure that each academy has the challenge and support it needs to secure improvement and exceed expectations. As Regional Director you will join the National Education team and be line managed by a National Director who will work with you and support you in your role. We are all committed to ensuring there is ‘Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community’. Leadership Values As Regional Director you will secure progress, develop, share and embed systems leadership across a range of academies and lead improvement in a dynamic, fast paced and successful organisation; one that is committed to inclusion, equality, relationships, hope and perseverance. This is an outward facing, high-profile role within our academies and the communities they serve. You will represent Oasis at a regional level and promote the Oasis ethos that makes us unique. Career Development We are an organisation that is wholeheartedly committed to developing our employees through internal and external training courses and offering opportunities for career progression within the family. To be effective in this role you will need to be passionate, driven and committed with demonstrable experience of securing rapid and sustained improvement and taking schools to Good or Outstanding throughout the development of your career to date.
