STEP Academy Trust is an exciting, dynamic place to work that can offer great opportunities to the right candidate. If you are ready to take the next step in your career, join us as we ‘Strive Together for Excellence in Partnership’.

We are looking to appoint experienced estates professional to join our Central Premises Team as Regional Premises and Estates Manager (London).

STEP Academy Trust are committed to improving the life chances of children. We believe that, wherever we have the capacity to make a difference, we are morally obliged to do so. This is our mission and our motivation, which drives everything which we do, in every department.

Our Academies are inclusive, with the highest academic standards; we support children from all backgrounds and provide them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to flourish. Their happiness, well-being and success is at the centre of everything we do.

We currently operate 20 primary schools across two main geographical areas (London and East Sussex) however we are committed to growing, both into secondary and into other regions.

Within the Premises department, we focus on how our estates can help to support our learners to become successful adults in the modern world. Of course, safety is at the forefront of everything we do, however we deliver highly visible/tangible services which play an essential part in raising aspiration. Our staff therefore demonstrate their commitment to STEP’s mission, by ensuring that every facet of a child’s school experience is excellent.

To prepare STEP for its next stage of development, we are seeking an exceptional individual who shares our passion for and commitment to education and the role that estates management plays in improving children’s life chances. To succeed in this role you’ll need to be organised, self-motivated and resilient. You’ll be the sort of person who embraces change, loves a challenge and enjoys working in a role where no two days are the same. You’ll be an excellent communicator who uses their wisdom and emotional intelligence to form positive relationships with colleagues and lead and inspire our multi-site managers, site managers and cleaning operatives within your regional cluster.

But you won’t be on your own. Unity is at the heart of STEP and so you’ll be working alongside colleagues who share your passion, are courageous but humble and who are keen to collaborate and support you to succeed.

Our Trust celebrates the diversity of our school community. We welcome visits to us.

Commitment to safeguarding

STEP Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
