Reintegration Room Manager job summary

As Reintegration Room Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the school’s Reintegration Room, providing a calm, structured environment where students can reflect on their behaviour, repair relationships and successfully return to mainstream learning.

Working closely with pastoral leaders, SEND, safeguarding and families, you will use a restorative approach to support students' academic, emotional and behavioural development.

The role involves planning and delivering targeted interventions, monitoring student progress, coordinating reintegration following suspensions and supporting whole-school behaviour strategies. You will communicate effectively with students, staff, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach for vulnerable and challenging students.

You will also line manage Relationship Support Officers, contribute to the development of positive behaviour culture across the school, maintain accurate records and reports, and support staff in promoting high expectations for behaviour, attendance and attitudes to learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on student outcomes, helping young people re-engage with learning and achieve success.
