Relief Midday Supervisor

About the Role:

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of our children during lunchtime. You will be a key part of the school community, helping to create a positive, caring atmosphere that supports our school ethos and behaviour strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising children during lunchtime, both inside and outside
  • Providing first aid support when required
  • Engaging and playing with children outside to encourage positive interactions
  • Assisting with cleaning tables and helping serve food efficiently
  • Supporting behaviour management and implementing the school’s behaviour strategies
  • Organising and getting outside play equipment ready for use
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns or behaviour issues promptly and appropriately
  • Supporting the overall ethos of the school

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with children in a supervisory or support role is preferred
  • Basic first aid knowledge or willingness to undertake training
  • Ability to manage and support children’s behaviour positively and consistently
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to report concerns
  • A friendly, approachable, and patient manner

Salary:
