About the Role:
As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of our children during lunchtime. You will be a key part of the school community, helping to create a positive, caring atmosphere that supports our school ethos and behaviour strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising children during lunchtime, both inside and outside
- Providing first aid support when required
- Engaging and playing with children outside to encourage positive interactions
- Assisting with cleaning tables and helping serve food efficiently
- Supporting behaviour management and implementing the school’s behaviour strategies
- Organising and getting outside play equipment ready for use
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns or behaviour issues promptly and appropriately
- Supporting the overall ethos of the school
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children in a supervisory or support role is preferred
- Basic first aid knowledge or willingness to undertake training
- Ability to manage and support children’s behaviour positively and consistently
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to report concerns
- A friendly, approachable, and patient manner

- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their wellbeing
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Reliability and commitment to supporting families and the school community
- Enthusiasm for outdoor play and active supervision
Salary:
- £12.26 per hour
