We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Are committed to inclusive practices and able to model and inspire this in a team;
  • Can challenge and support children in their learning embracing adaptive teaching;
  • Can provide outstanding learning opportunities for our children within a safe yet stimulating learning environment;
  • Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum;
  • Have experience of working with children with SEND especially those with more complex cognition, communication and emotional needs;
  • Have a good understanding of how small steps of knowledge can be built on;
  • Are dedicated to and have high expectations of children and a belief that all children can succeed;
  • Proven ability in raising outcomes for pupils;
  • Are creative, organised, determined and resilient;
  • Have excellent communication, inter-personal skills and high levels of emotional intelligence;
  • Can liaise effectively with parents and outside agencies;
  • Are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues and can share good practice.

This thriving Acorn Education Trust school is looking to appoint a Resource Base Lead to teach in our Complex Needs Resource Base and lead the team. The Avenue Primary School is set in the charming market town of Warminster, Wiltshire. As part of the Acorn Education Trust, the school provides exciting opportunities to improve local education.
