Maternity Cover
Compass Point Primary School is seeking a Resource Base Teacher to join the school on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave.
We are a diverse and friendly primary school in the heart of Bedminster, in South Bristol. We are a single site, one form entry school with school field, forest school area and dedicated cookery and art rooms. We are proud to be a diverse and inclusive school and we are committed to providing an interesting enquiry based curriculum that reflects our school community
Our Resource Base is an integral part of our school and the children are fully involved in all aspects of school life. You will be supported by our existing Resource Base team and wider SEND team within our Trust. Members of staff within the Resource Base team are integral members of the wider school community
We would like to hear from you if you:
- Can challenge, inspire and support children in their learning;
- Can provide outstanding learning opportunities for our children;
- Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum;
- Have experience of working with children with SEND;
- Have a good understanding of how small steps of knowledge can be built on;
- Have high expectations of children and a belief that all children can succeed;
- Are committed to teaching using a creative, cross-curricular approach; Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Are able to create a high quality stimulating, interactive and creative learning environment;
- Are able to work effectively within our talented and friendly team;
- Have a commitment to working with others on whole school priorities
