People Operations Team
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent & Resourcing Lead to join our People Operations Team and play a key role in delivering our People Strategy across the Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR and recruitment professional to lead on talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce initiatives across our schools and central teams. You will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring all processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with safer recruitment and employment legislation.
Working closely with leaders across the Trust, you will act as the main point of contact for recruitment and resourcing advice, supporting hiring managers to attract, recruit, and retain high-quality talent. You will also lead on senior and central recruitment campaigns, including appointments for Principals, Senior Leaders, and Trustees.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, experience of managing recruitment processes end-to-end, and a sound understanding of safer recruitment practices and compliance requirements within education or a similar sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the recruitment process from advertising through to onboarding
- Provide recruitment and resourcing advice to leaders and hiring managers across the Trust
- Manage senior leadership, Principal, Trustee, and central recruitment campaigns
- Ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices, DBS checks, references, and employment legislation
- Monitor and support Single Central Record (SCR) compliance across schools
- Maintain and improve recruitment documentation, systems, and processes
- Manage applicant tracking systems and talent pools
- Produce recruitment and onboarding reports aligned to KPIs
- Develop partnerships and initiatives to attract new talent, including apprenticeships and graduate programmes
- Build effective relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners

- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations
- Knowledge of safer recruitment and employment compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using recruitment systems and producing data reports
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
