We are a large school on the North Norfolk Coast. Our children are caring and inclusive and our staff are proactive and forward thinking.
We are looking to employ a safeguarding / pastoral assistant to work alongside the designated safeguarding lead / HT in supporting the children and families at our school. The role will involve meeting children, families and outside agencies. It will also include organising and running EHAP/ School Lead Plan meetings and ensuring safeguarding systems are maintained to the highest standards. Full training will be given where required.
Applicants should have:

- A passion for helping children and families of all abilities and backgrounds to reach their full potential.
- Confidence in working with families and outside agencies.
- The ability to challenge and accept challenge.
- Great communication skills.
- A strong sense of teamwork.
- A flexible, proactive and positive outlook.
- At least a relevant NVQ Level 2.
- Resilience and empathy.
- Good admin and clerical skills – proficiency in word, excel and email.
- Experience of working with a range of primary aged children.
- A sense of humour!
