Ratton School became a converter academy on 1st of August 2012 and joined with Ocklynge Junior School on the 1stof December 2017 to form the South Downs Learning Trust. We are looking to recruit a trainee teacher in Design Technology for September 2023.
Our preferred candidate will specialise in Food Technology but may have other experience or specialisms within the Design Technology umbrella of subjects. We are looking to fund this place to unqualified teacher pay point 3 (currently £23,777).
You will need an undergraduate degree at class 2:2 or above, or equivalent. Candidates typically have a degree in a subject which includes the following:
- Product Design
- Product Design
- 3D Design
- Textiles
- Architecture
- Food Science
- Food and Nutrition
- Sculpture
- Art and Design
- Graphics
- Electronics
We are looking for the following personal qualities:
