School Administrator - Admin and Reprographics job summary
This role is working within the busy environment of the school office, providing an administrative, reprographics and reception service to the school, where excellent organisational skills are essential in order to deal with the variety of tasks that need to be undertaken.

Hours of Work: 20 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only, including Training Days (39 Weeks Per Year) - hours can be worked over either 4 or 5 days per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed administrator to join our busy school.
The position will involve a mixture of reprographics duties and general administrative support. The postholder will be responsible for providing an efficient and up to date reprographics and learning resources service to students and staff. At the request of colleagues, you will support with the production and delivery of class resources, internal exam papers, booklets, leaflets and any other resources as required. In this role you will be expected to maintain all reprographics equipment to ensure they are in working order, managing costs of materials and monitoring stock levels of relevant stationery and equipment.
Alongside the reprographics duties, the potholder will be part of the main school administration team and as such will be required to carry out administrative tasks as directed by the Senior Administrator, such as sending communications to parents by post, email and text message, producing letters and other documents, data input, and reception duties as necessary.
This post will suit someone who is/has:
- professional and well organised
- friendly and resilient
- competent using a range of computer programmes (experience of using SIMS and/or ClassCharts would be helpful although not essential as training will be provided)
- the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, recognising when to seek support and advice
- able to deliver first aid (statutory first aid at work training can be provided)
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- have excellent written and oral communication skills
- an excellent telephone manner
- able to deal with matters sensitively and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
