Purpose of the Role

The role of a School Administrator is to provide high-quality administrative support to staff, pupils and parents, acting as the first point of contact for the school. This role supports the Headteacher and School Business Manager in managing the school's administrative services, ensuring they operate at a high standard. It is essential in making sure these functions effectively aid the school's management and teaching staff. This role is central to maintaining efficient office systems, supporting daily school operations, and contributing to the positive, professional image of Elm Tree Primary School, reflecting the ethos of the school and the Trust.

Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of this role. The post holder must work closely with all members of the school community, demonstrating integrity, setting high expectations for themselves and others, and upholding standards of care for children, staff, parents, and the community.
