What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced person to a new role of Office Manager.

We are looking for a person with:

- Excellent communication skills

- Outstanding administration and computer skills

- The ability to prioritise and manage work and time effectively

- Be flexible and adaptable

- Have high standards and expectations in all areas

The role will include working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the Headteachers PA, Teaching agencies and Support staff. The successful candidate will need to deal with students, parents and outside agencies. Previous school experience, including the use of SIMS, ParentPay, Word and Excel or similar systems is preferred. Team leadership and management experience would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Other necessary qualities include the ability to maintain confidentiality, work efficiently using your won initiative and work under pressure, maintaining a positive and cheerful ethos in a professional and consistent manner.

The hours are from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on a Friday, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. There will be occasions when admin support is required for evening functions such as Open Evenings and Parents Evenings.
