The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a School Administrator at Wild Bank Community School, Demesne Drive, Stalybridge, SK15 2PG.

Our Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop the aspiration, motivation and to be successful; we have high ambitions for all young people in our academies and all roles at our academy are central to ensuring that we work to support this.

Wild Bank is a one form entry school with 31 staff and 146 pupils aged between 3 and 11. Wild Bank’s school motto is ‘Working together we can achieve our best’.

To start Monday 23rd February 2026

School Administrator full time Salary £26,403 -£27,694

This is a permanent contract, part-time 35 hours per week, Term Time Only with an actual salary £21,967 -£23,041, (TMBC Grade D Point 7-10)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated school administrator to join our team who will be a welcoming first point of contact for those visiting and contacting the school. We have a friendly, supportive and committed staff team who care deeply about providing the best education possible for our children.

The post holder will carry out a range of administrative duties, including:

• Front of house duties, e.g., handling telephone calls and welcoming visitors;

• Maintaining a range of pupil information, e.g., using Arbor and other databases;

• Managing and processing payments from parents through Arbor.

• Using a range of online systems, e.g., for data transfer;

• Managing nursery and in-year admissions;

• Recording and managing pupil attendance data and contacting parents regarding pupils’ absence;

• Assisting with the administration of extra-curricular activities and other programmes;

• Completing and sharing information with external bodies

The successful candidate must have:

• Excellent IT skills, including competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude for learning school-specific systems.

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.

• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to converse at ease with all members of the school community.

• A professional, calm, patient, and flexible approach to work in a dynamic environment.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:

• Applications close at 09:00 on Friday 16th January 2026 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.

• Interviews will take place on Wednesday 21st January 2026.

• Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.
