School Based Tutors job summary
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic tutors to support students in their GCSE preparations. We are seeking tutors in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and Modern Foreign Languages.
Tutors will be school based, offering tuition at the end of the school day between 3 and 5 pm. Typically students will have an hour of tuition per week over an agreed period of time. We can be flexible regarding the number of days worked. On appointment, tutors will be offered a contract of employment which sets out their guaranteed hours and working pattern.

You will:
Hold a relevant qualification such as QTS or have recent, demonstrable experience of tutoring to GCSE level
Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students, and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model
Be enthusiastic about giving young people the best possible start in life
Have experience of working with children and young people
Have a passion for learning and be a life-long learner
Commitment to safeguarding
