What skills and experience we're looking for
The School Business Manager is a key member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT), responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all non-teaching functions within the school.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly motivated professional to lead all aspects of school business management, including finance, HR, premises, ICT, administration, and marketing. The successful candidate will work closely with the headteacher, governors, and senior leaders to ensure the best use of resources in support of our mission to educate the whole person in a Catholic Christian context.

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School, Leeds, is a mainstream secondary school for girls and boys aged between 11 and 16. It is a voluntary aided establishment and its denomination is Roman Catholic. Cardinal Heenan continues to be a good school. Inspectors recognised that “this is a happy school” in which “the Catholic character and virtues have a strong influence on everything”. Ofsted commented on our “ambitious curriculum for all students”, our “high expectations of all students”, the “range of opportunities for students to learn beyond lessons” and the “high quality programme of careers guidance and advice”. Most importantly, they saw our students as “respectful”, “take pleasure in attending” and “enjoy their learning”.
