The role requires a dedicated, flexible and organised person who will approach work with a positive attitude, honesty, confidentiality and integrity. The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management team and will lead an administrative team who work effectively to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. The role requires a strong strengths within financial budgetary management, be an excellent communicator who can demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.

As School Business Manager you will be supporting the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and wider school team by delivering and managing the non-teaching aspects of school by:
- Managing the daily running of financial (budget management), facilities and administration aspects of the school supporting the Headteacher and leadership team.
- Ensuring the smooth running of payroll, reconciliation and delivery of school census working to appropriate deadlines.
- Be competent with systems such as SIMS and iTrent (although training will be provided)
- Liaise effectively with Trust and appropriate external organisations in areas such as Payroll, Administration, HR and Health & Safety.

Heathcote Primary School is a free school which opened in September 2017. We are part of Community Academies Trust. The school is part of a new community which is growing rapidly. We cater for children who predominantly live in the estates surrounding the school and Leamington Spa. The school is 2-form entry and is set in wonderful grounds which are developing. We have a forest school area, sports field, amphitheater and surrounding land which is ripe for development. We are particularly focussed on developing a curriculum which is embedded in outdoor learning.
