School Business Manager job summary

 
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager (SBM) to be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the business functions of our school. This will include oversight of financial management, health and safety, human resources and compliance with statutory obligations. 

The postholder will lead a dedicated finance/HR team whilst retaining an overview of many other areas of school life such as premises, IT and catering. The Business Manager will be a member of the senior leadership team and contribute to school wide decision making. Effective and efficient management of our business functions ensures the school is well placed to deliver outstanding educational outcomes for students.
