School Business Manager in a SAT - SLT member of 2fe Early Years, KS1, KS2 job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced school business manager (SBM) to join our senior leadership team. The SBM will be responsible for the strategy and operations of the business functions; including finance, procurement, health & safety, human resources, infrastructure and governance. They will advise on and implement the day to day support that enables the school to operate efficiently and effectively to allow the other members of the senior leadership team to focus on teaching and learning
The SBM will also have Chief Finance Office and Company Secretary responsibilities for the single academy trust and will therefore demonstrate a strong understanding of the requirements within the Academy Trust Handbook.

Flamstead End School is an Ofsted 'outstanding' single academy trust (SAT) in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire (EN7 6AG) - a 10 minute drive from J25 of M25 and 10 minutes from the border with Essex.
The school comprises; 2 Pre-School (from age 2) sessions daily, 2 Nursery class sessions daily, followed by two forms of entry for Reception through to Year 6.
The SLT; Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Business Manager and four education phase leaders. These are supported by a team of professional Teaching and Support Staff to deliver the curriculum.
Our operational support, Finance Manager, Office Manager supported by 2 administration assistants and our Site Manager and Site Officer cover the site 6am - 6pm 52 weeks pa.
The school has extensive well maintained grounds with lots of outdoor equipment for pupils to use. Our two adjacent buildings (EY/KS1 and KS2) are very well maintained and stocked, including the infrastructure has benefitted from successful CIF bids. KS2 houses the main kitchen (all school meals prepared here) and dining area, whilst KS1 has a servery for the KS1 dining hall. On-site car parking for all staff.
