What skills and experience we're looking for

The Imperium Federation comprises of Waterside SEMH Primary, King’s Oak SEMH Secondary and Oak Lodge. The federation manages an outreach service for the borough and has an ASD DSP. The schools work with pupils from Y1 to end of KS4 as well as supporting our mainstream colleagues across the borough and the UK.

Our recent Ofsted inspections graded us, at both schools, as OUTSTANDING in all categories. Are you a confident, experienced Senior Schools Business Manager who understands that their role is pivotal in enabling us as a federation to continue offering our young people the very best education by setting and maintaining the highest standards as expected in our outstanding buildings? The Senior Business Manager works with the Executive Headteacher in their duty to ensure that the school meets its educational priorities and takes a lead role in helping the Heads of School and Senior Leadership team to formulate the long-term business and financial strategy for the school.

The Senior Business Manager promotes the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s objectives. As well as beingresponsible for the financial management, liaising with the premises team and other departments they supervise and support the administration team.
