On behalf of our school family I welcome you to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School in Partington.
We know that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make and we hope that by browsing our website you will decide that Our Lady of Lourdes is the school for your family.
I feel it is a privilege to be the headteacher of this amazing school. We believe our school is a warm, welcoming and inclusive place. The Gospel values permeate through our mission and our school. Our children live out our mission every day and we celebrate this in our weekly BRONZE assembly. We ensure Jesus is at the heart of all we do. Our Lady of Lourdes is a place of love and forgiveness. We offer a curriculum for all children, the children receive an all-inclusive education and we continually aim for excellence.
Our Lady of Lourdes has an extremely strong relationship between home, school and parish. This is valued by parents, pupils and staff. We were delighted to receive an ‘Good’ judgement in our most recent Denomination Inspection in February 2023. The inspectors stated ‘
‘A committed and caring staff do all they can to ensure all pupils feel cared for and supported.’
‘The sense of community is evident in the excellent relationships and the culture of welcome.’
We serve the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes and our close connections ensure that your child is supported throughout their faith journey as well as their educational journey. Our Parish Priest is Father Ned who forms an integral part of our school.
We are fortunate to feed to three Outstanding Secondary schools: Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College, Loreto Grammar and St Ambrose College. Trafford operates a selective system. Children attending our school take priority for admission to our feeder schools.
We are continually looking for ways in which we can develop the school further. We welcome visits, so that you can see us in action and see why Our Lady of Lourdes is such a special place to be.
