What skills and experience we're looking for

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at the OHS for the right person to join our ambitious team. The successful candidate will provide all aspects of business support management, and day to day leadership for a small team of highly motivated administrators. They will contribute to the leadership of the whole school through the Senior Leadership Team’s strategic work.

The main responsibilities of the SBM relate to the leadership & management of the school’s budget & financial procedures, health & safety, HR, premises, administration, and IT services. It is an exciting, busy, varied, and highly rewarding role in a school which is values-led, caring, inclusive, and professional in its delivery of education to some of the most vulnerable pupils in Oxfordshire. Oxfordshire Hospital School (OHS) is an Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) maintained Hospital School based across a number of settings throughout the county of Oxfordshire. The school serves children and young people aged 5-17 who are unable to attend their enrolled school due to either physical or mental health needs.
