School Business Manager job summary

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional and dedicated School Business Manager to assist the Executive Headteacher and Head of School in detailed financial planning and with the operational management of all non-teaching functions. This is a varied and exciting role and will include office management, human resource management, financial management which includes controlling the school budget and expenditure, payroll submissions, health and safety and premises management, providing a wide range of responsibilities to the successful candidate. A flexible approach is essential, and the role will involve close working with our partner schools. The School Business Manager will demonstrate creativity, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a genuine desire to work in a busy environment. They will be highly valued, assisting the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring the school meets its educational aims. Our School Business Manager will have previous school experience, be ambitious for Priory Common and willing to make a positive contribution to the Inclusive Learning Federation.
