Key Responsibilities:
As the School Business Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of school operations, including:
• Financial Management – Overseeing the school’s budget, financial planning, and reporting to ensure sustainability and compliance
• HR & Staff Administration – Managing recruitment, contracts, and staff records, ensuring adherence to employment policies and procedures
• Facilities & Health & Safety – Ensuring the school premises are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health & safety regulations
• Procurement & Resources – Managing contracts, suppliers, and school resources efficiently
• Governance & Compliance – Supporting senior leadership with policy implementation, risk management, and statutory reporting
• ICT & Administrative Systems – Overseeing the school’s administrative functions and IT infrastructure to support effective teaching and learning

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Has strong leadership and staff management skills, with a commitment to working within and developing a supportive team
• Has experience in financial processing, budgeting, meticulous record-keeping, and financial reporting
• Has knowledge of statutory policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
• Has sustained and successful experience in a school administrative setting
• Is highly organised, able to work under pressure, and has a cheerful, proactive approach
• Will actively contribute to the wider school community
