Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help to deliver an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

  • 5 A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths
  • Experience of management within a public/private sector setting
  • Experience in financial, HR, business and/or premises operations
  • The ability to communicate verbally with, and write reports for, a range of stakeholders, including Governors and external agencies
  • The ability to manage people effectively by conducting regular meetings, setting targets for performance, delegating tasks

The Olive School, Birmingham is a 630 place Muslim faith based primary school which welcomes children from all faiths and none. The school opened in September 2016, admitting 90 children into Reception and 90 children into Year 1. It will welcome another 90 children into Reception each September and will reach its full size in 2021. Like all Star schools, it has “Leadership” as a specialism.
