About the Role

You will play an important part in creating a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard
  • Empty bins, remove waste and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop and polish floors as required
  • Wipe down desks, surfaces, touch points and equipment
  • Refill soap, paper towels and other hygiene supplies
  • Ensure cleaning materials are used safely and stored correctly
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Site Manager
  • Follow all school safeguarding, health & safety and infection‑control procedures

Person Specification

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
  • Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential - training will be provided
