School Cleaner job summary

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term time plus 5 additional weeks (43 working weeks)

Working times of 6:30-8:30am or 4pm-6pm - to be discussed at interview

Hilltop Infant School is a school where children are at the HEART. Our school provides a happy, caring and safe learning environment for all.

To help us maintain this, we are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our friendly team.

The role will involve cleaning our communal areas and classrooms, replenishing stock and emptying bins etc.

We are looking for individuals that are:

  • organised and diligent
  • friendly and personable with all members of our school community
  • confident and able to work on their own initiative
  • aware of health and safety, taking responsibility for their personal safety and that of others
  • has the interests of children at the heart of what they do

We currently have an opportunity for additional hours cleaning at our central office, HEARTS House in Wickford. This can be discussed at interview stage or by emailing recruitment@heartsacademy.uk.
