Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (“the MAC”) was formed in April 2021 and comprises of 12 Catholic Primary Schools and 2 Catholic Secondary School across the Birmingham, Solihull, and Warwickshire areas.
St. Anne’s is a highly successful two form entry primary school in the north of Solihull. There is also a nursery on site and extended childcare provision.
We are seeking to appoint a School Cleaner to join our existing enthusiastic and professional team. Cleaners are employed on a full-time basis as they need to be available to clean during the school holidays. Our team of cleaners are hugely important to us as they keep the school looking spotless every day and in turn making it a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff to work in. We are very proud of our school.
Core Purpose:
You are required to support the cleaning operations of the school premises which includes classrooms
toilets, corridors and removal of rubbish. To make the premises a clean and safe place for staff,
pupils and visitors.
Key roles/Main Areas of Responsibility
To clean all areas of the building as deemed appropriate, including, but not exclusively classrooms, offices, corridors, toilet areas, halls and meeting rooms.
To undertake specialist activities including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming as required
To use electrical cleaning equipment in designated areas where appropriate
Polishing and dusting of fixtures & fittings as required.
Emptying of litter bins as required
To undertake periodic cleaning including stripping and re-polishing of hard floors and the cleaning of carpets
Any other duties that would reasonably be expected of the post holder.
