School Cleaner job summary

Hours: 15 hours per week (Term-time + holiday deep cleans)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (After school hours)

Wenhaston Primary School is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our close-knit school family. If you take pride in your work and want to play a key role in keeping our learning environment safe, clean, and welcoming for our children, we would love to hear from you!

Hours & Working Pattern:
  • During Term Time: 15 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday after the school day has ended (exact timings to be agreed).

  • During School Holidays: Periodic deep cleaning hours, with specific days and times flexibly arranged in advance with the Headteacher and School Business Manager.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the job description and will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and children's barred list check, health check, online search and satisfactory references. Copies of our safeguarding and safer recruitment policies are available on request.
