School Counsellor job summary

SCHOOL COUNSELLOR

Part time and Term Time

A qualified counsellor is required to work within our school to actively support the mental health and wellbeing of both our students and our staff. The role will also involve working closely with our Heads of Year, Pastoral and AEN departments in assisting and supporting students in need of professional support on both a one to one basis and group basis. We also offer staff supervision with a counsellor if required.

Salary will be paid according to experience AAT Grade F £32,140 - £35,035

(equates to £14,496 - £15,801 per annum for 38 weeks term time working plus two weeks)

18.5 hours per week (Mon and Tues: 8.00 - 4.30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm)
