School Counsellor (Part-time) job summary

About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of starting an exceptional comprehensive school. As a School Counsellor, you will be a vital member of support staff providing a crucial service supporting, promoting and developing positive mental health and well being in students in order to improve attainment, attendance, behaviour, confidence and resilience. You will also support and develop the practice of staff in school and in the broader partnership to encourage positive mental health and well being in students. In this role, you will work within other counselling colleagues and within a broader team of Associate SENCOs and Learning Support Champions.

This role is offered on a part time basis (either 1 or 2 days per week) - the exact pattern of working is negotiable for the right candidate. The actual, pro-rata salary is estimated to be £6,421 to £13,702 depending on the level of experience and number of days worked.
