Our dynamic special needs school is looking for Care Assistants to support and nurture our incredible pupils across the secondary age part of our school.
This is a role supporting our class-based staff in the care of our young people, including completing medical and personal care tasks.

Ivel Valley is a special needs school and college in Biggleswade, providing education for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Our school site on Hitchmead Road supports pupils from Early Years to Key Stage 4 with the majority of students continuing on to post-16 education at our College site at The Baulk, Biggleswade.
The posts are permanent working term time only with a start time of between 8.30 – 9.30am and finish time of between 2.45 – 3.45pm. Part-time requests will also be considered for a reduced number of days. You will be provided with a full induction programme to give you the training you need to succeed. You are not required to have any school-based experience, just a great attitude! Experience in the social care sector would be an advantage (but isn’t essential).
