The Henry Box School is a very popular 11-18 comprehensive school. We are an exciting place to learn and work and our professional development is second to none.

The Henry Box School has a long and impressive heritage dating back to 1660 when Henry Box provided his native town with an endowed grammar school, with boarding facilities, for boys. Now a mixed comprehensive school, it continues to maintain strong links with Oriel College, Oxford, where Henry Box was a student, and with the Grocers' Company of which he was a member, and then Master in 1640.
