The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic School Liaison Officer to join the Marketing and School Liaison team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for fostering strong relationships with local schools, promoting the college’s programmes and opportunities, and supporting students through their transition into further education. You’ll work closely with staff, students, and external partners to deliver engaging outreach activities, presentations, and events that inspire young people and raise aspirations, contributing to the college’s recruitment targets.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and School Liaison, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a flair for organisation and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people. You’ll bring creativity, confidence, and a proactive approach to developing partnerships and promoting the college’s values.

Evening work will be required occasionally, for which time will be paid back in lieu.

Your Responsibilities include…

  • To work with the Head of Marketing and School Liaison to plan and organise all school liaison and student recruitment events
  • To plan and deliver liaison activities based both in the college and in schools to promote the Sixth Form as a first-choice destination for pupils
  • To maintain and develop relationships with schools; their students; advisors; and other representatives to promote positive engagement and to support the achievement of the college’s recruitment targets
