Do you want to join a thriving Kent school?Thamesview Schoolare seeking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to become our new Librarian, replacing a member of staff leaving the school to take on a new career challenge, and overseeing a well-established Library area and associated functions. We are looking for someone with good ICT skills and a passion for reading to provide effective resource management in the library area, promoting and developing its use amongst staff and students with the overall aim of creating a vibrant hub of literacy development and enjoyment of reading.

Professionalism and a can-do attitude are key – full on the job training will be provided.

The successful applicant must:

  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise and communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Be able to demonstrate a passion for and hands on approach to Literacy through the use of ICT.
  • Work with diligence and accuracy.

  • Be confident to work independently and multi-task in a range of areas.
  • Be willing to undertake training and professional development.
  • Relate well to students.
  • Hold a good attendance and punctuality record.
