What skills and experience we're looking for
What we are looking for:
- a proven ability to work as part of a team and form good relationships with other colleagues to ensure effective lunchtime supervision.
- a warm but confident manner with children, and the ability to role model virtues such as dignity, professionalism and kindness.
- ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the school, with pupils, staff or parents.
- ability to set and maintain high expectations of pupil table manners and conduct during lunchtime .
- a commitment to the safety, well-being and progress of everyone at the school.
You will be responsible for
- Laying out and serving the lunches to pupils and ensuring the area is tidy after service
- Ensuring the health and safety of children at lunchtimes under the direction of the appropriate person as identified by the school
- Maintaining our vision for lunchtimes as a calm learning experience for all pupils during which they learn courteous table manners and share in a healthy cooked meal.
