What skills and experience we're looking for
St Teresa’s RC Primary School requires a School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team to supervise the children in our ASD Unit. You will help supervise the children both in the dining hall and outside during the lunchtime break. The successful candidate will have experience of and an understanding of working with children with ASD.
Responsibilities of the post include:
Ø As a member of the school team, you will work during lunchtime to ensure the children are safe, happy and healthy,
Ø Supervise the children in the dinner hall, playground and classrooms during wet weather,
Ø You will need to enjoy the company of children, listening and talking to them, sorting out problems and assisting them with their lunch and engaging them in playground and indoor games.
