School Office Administrator job summary
Merstham Park School is seeking an organised, friendly and flexible Office Admin Assistant to join our supportive team, on a fixed-term basis until 17 July 2026.
Your Opportunity
As a key member of our school office, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Your duties will be varied, including looking after the student’s needs, supporting colleagues and providing a professional and friendly point of call to all parents and visitors to our school. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role, ideally at a secondary school, and should have excellent communication and organisational skills.
It is important that you have a warm, caring and professional manner at all times, as you will be dealing face to face with students, parents and carers on a daily basis.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 2 - £22,918 FTE (pay award pending)
Actual Salary: £18,073 Actual (pay award pending)
Hours of work: 33 hours per week (with unpaid lunch) - Term time only. Working hours between 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time applications will be considered where the needs of the school can be met.
