We are seeking a confident and friendly administrative assistant for our school office, who will provide the first point-of-contact for people coming to the school. Working as part of a team of three within the school office, the role will include receptionist duties along with administration tasks such as managing school lunch orders, music tuition arrangements, and general admin support.
Hillside Avenue Primary and Nursery School is a successful and popular school in Thorpe St Andrew, to the East of Norwich. We have high expectations for everyone in our school, making use of staff skills and experience, resources, technology and our extensive school site to fulfil our vision to enable children to be ‘the best they can be’. We are constantly working on further enhancing and innovating with our curriculum, working closely with global partners as a Global Research School to access some of the latest educational practice, including working directly with other schools in our Trust, Harlands Primary in Brighton and Dondero Elementary in Portsmouth USA. Our school has a proud sporting heritage, strong extra-curricular provision and active pupil groups for school council, play leaders and school Houses. All staff are expected to be fully involved in the wider life of the school.
