What skills and experience we're looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive School Compliance Manager to ensure the safety, compliance, and smooth operation of all premises-compliant related matters. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring our school buildings and facilities meet all legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining a safe, secure, and functional environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the compliance of the school premises with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and other statutory requirements, including asbestos management.
  • Ensure all risk assessments and audits of premises and facilities are regularly conducted and up to date.
  • Manage the testing and maintenance of all health and safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and electrical safety checks.
  • Coordinate with Senior Site Staff to ensure any necessary remedial works is compliant with safety standards.
  • Develop and deliver premises-related training for staff on safety policies and emergency procedures.
  • Support the school leadership team with managing the premises strategy, including long-term improvements and sustainability projects.
  • Act as the point of contact for external inspections (e.g., fire safety, health and safety inspections) and implement required actions.
