School Receptionist job summary

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist who can demonstrate high attention to detail, exceptional IT skills, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to be able to work autonomously. Your professional, friendly approach, great customer service and positive attitude is essential in this busy role.

This varied role combines front‑of‑house responsibilities with day‑to‑day administration and financial support, requiring excellent communication skills and a calm, helpful approach. You will use IT systems and other resources to support the effective running of the school office, while also providing First Aid to pupils and staff when required.

You will play an important role in supporting and developing the school office service, working closely with colleagues to ensure processes are efficient, responsive, and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front of House management
  • Correspondence, comminications and visitor enquiries
  • Providing support to parents, pupils and visitors as required

This role will report into the Senior Admin Officer
