Ludham Primary School and Nursery is set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, on a beautiful site with woodland space. We are a popular school with 116 pupils on roll, including a nursery, enjoying an excellent local reputation and consistently judged Good by Ofsted.
We are seeking to appoint a School Secretary to manage the efficient and secure administration of our school office, working closely with the Headteacher, Mrs Andrea Goreham.
This is a front-facing role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong administrative experience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working with pupils, parents, governors, and staff.
Key points:
- Responsibility for school administration and office systems
- Financial administration support, including invoices, payments, and ParentPay
- Maintaining accurate records on the school’s MIS system (Compass)
- Supporting recruitment, admissions, and personnel documentation
- Contributing to income generation and procurement processes
- Reception and ‘front of house’ duties

In general, all staff are required to take due care for their own safety and the safety of their fellow employees at all times.
This part- time, temporary role is linked to sickness absence. There is the possibility of the extension of this role after Easter 2026.
