Ludham Primary School and Nursery is set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, on a beautiful site with woodland space. We are a popular school with 116 pupils on roll, including a nursery, enjoying an excellent local reputation and consistently judged Good by Ofsted.

We are seeking to appoint a School Secretary to manage the efficient and secure administration of our school office, working closely with the Headteacher, Mrs Andrea Goreham.

This is a front-facing role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong administrative experience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working with pupils, parents, governors, and staff.

Key points:

  • Responsibility for school administration and office systems
  • Financial administration support, including invoices, payments, and ParentPay
  • Maintaining accurate records on the school’s MIS system (Compass)
  • Supporting recruitment, admissions, and personnel documentation
  • Contributing to income generation and procurement processes
  • Reception and ‘front of house’ duties

This part- time, temporary role is linked to sickness absence. There is the possibility of the extension of this role after Easter 2026.
