What skills and experience we're looking for

About The Role:

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of Mithian School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed school secretary. Mithian School is situated just outside of St Agnes near farmland with excellent facilities and easy access to the most wonderful outdoor learning environments.

The role requires a friendly person to be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school ensuring a warm welcome.We require representation of the school with internal and external bodies and a strong promotion of the school through communications.

Clerical support to the school is vital as well as a smooth running of the school office.

The position will work closely with the Executive Headteacher and support them with administration and other secretarial duties as set out by them.

About You:

You will ideally have experience of work within a school or a busy office environment.You should be able to work under your own initiative but also be able to work as part of a team and be able to prioritise duties. Experience with IT systems as well as word processing and typing skills are necessary for this role.
