Science Laboratory Technician

16 hours per week - Term Time Only

LGS Scale 3 points 5-6 £25,584-£25,989 (£9,271 - £9,418 pa actual salary)

We have an immediate vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated person to take on the role of Science Technician within the school.

The role will be to provide practical and technical support for teaching and learning within the Science Department, including the preparation of materials, setting up of equipment for class practical sessions and maintaining equipment for use.

The successful candidate will also be supporting non specialists and trainees with demonstrations and class practicals. Previous knowledge/experience of working within a laboratory environment is desirable.
