Science Teacher 0.5 job summary

Science at Dove House is a dynamic and enjoyable subject. Student engagement is high and heavily practical based. Students are taught through discovery and encouragement to explore the world around them. The Science team is a highly cohesive department and, for a small school, very well resourced and supported. We offer a breadth of qualifications to meet all abilities from Entry Level to Level 2 Distinction, with pupils achieving higher level GCSE equivalents. Through curricular and extra-curricular enrichment and trips, pupils will develop their social, communication and independence skills, resulting in them being confident, resilient and independent young people who are prepared for adulthood. The role may also include taking responsibility for a tutor group.
