Further details about the role
The successful candidate will be required to teach general science across the full-ability range at Key Stage 3 and their science specialism to GCSE is essential. Ability to teach their specialism at A-Level is desirable. Training would be available for A-Level teaching if required.

Hanley Castle High School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school of approximately 1,050 students, including a flourishing sixth form. The school gained academy status in 2011 and in April 2017 our articles of association as an academy were amended to form the Hanley and Upton Educational Trust (MAT). This formalised close links with Hanley Swan and Kempsey primary schools. In January 2019 Welland primary school also became a member of the MAT.
