What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified, dynamic and imaginative teacher of Science to join an outstanding Department. Situated on the outskirts of the New Forest in Lymington, Priestlands’ headline GCSE Progress 8 score consistently places us among the top schools in Hampshire and the New Forest.

We are recognised for our excellent induction programme and support, therefore newly qualified and early career teachers are particularly encouraged to submit an application. The successful candidate will already hold or be on track to attain QTS in the UK and be someone with a commitment to education, a capacity for hard work and a passion for continuous improvement.

Priestlands School, an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school, serves the south of the New Forest. Our catchment area covers an area of outstanding beauty, stretching from Beaulieu in the East, to Brockenhurst in the North, and Milford-on-Sea at its most westerly point.
