The role

We seek a motivated, passionate and committed Science teacher to join us from September 2022 in order to promote the highest achievement possible for our students. The science department achieved great results last year and we are keen to build on this via quality teaching and learning in every classroom for every student in every year group. This role is as suitable for an ECT as it is for a more experienced teacher. We are simply looking for someone who is committed, innovative and solutions focused. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved with extra-curricular activities as well as numerous CPD opportunities both within the department and externally. A passion for science is a must as well as a keen desire to continuously develop subject knowledge and pedagogy. You will be well supported by a friendly and knowledgeable team and a fully resourced department.

Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013.
