The Littlehampton Academy is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring science teacher for our thriving Science Faculty. An interest in teaching psychology would be an advantage.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and ambitious school. The Littlehampton Academy is a large academy with a core ethos that supports the development of both staff and students. The Science Faculty is based in a suite of 14 newly refurbished and well-resourced laboratories and is well-supported by a team of knowledgeable technicians .
Our current focus is the continued development of an innovative and engaging KS3 curriculum based on skills and independent enquiry, whilst at KS4, students follow a range of flexible and personalised learning pathways leading to a variety of accredited courses including AQA 9-1 GCSE science trilogy. At KS4 we also offer triple science; at post-16 courses include physics, chemistry, biology and psychology to A2 Level.
