What skills and experience we're looking for

As a science teacher you will:

- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), Mainly SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)

- Support students' educational and emotional development

- Adapt lessons to cater to varying abilities, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.

- Build positive relationships with both students and staff.

- Provide support to the primary staff in the planning and delivery of the science curriculum to improve subject knowledge.

- Deliver qualifications which are best suited to the learner’s ability to ensure the best outcomes are met for the learners.

TLR

- To support in the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies to improve the quality of education across the school.

- To support SLT in conducting the quality assurance across the school.

- To support staff in understanding the pedagogy which underpins SEMH teaching and how this is implemented within the classroom.

- To offer support to less experienced staff members in teaching and learning.
